- Then open the cover and check the status of the halwa and add the sugar and mix again. The sugar will dissolve..
- Allow it to cook uncovered till the milk and juices evapourate. When you stir it you will feel the halwa is cooked properly..
- Switch off the gas. Serve the halwa with chopped nuts and raisins..
