  3. Add the onion, carrot, chilli, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves mix well..
  4. Heat oil and add mustard seed, cumin seeds,curry leaves and add to semolina batter..
  5. The consistency of the rava idli batter should be similar to idli batter..
  6. It should neither be thick nor thin,so adjust water accordingly..
  7. Get the idli steamer ready with boiling water..
  8. Brush the plates with oil add soda to the batter..
  9. Add the batter mix on the idli moulds..
  10. Steam for 15 min, take it off from the stand..
  11. Let it cool for 15min before serving out idli from the stand..
