  5. As butter melts, add finely chopped onions. saute on a low to medium flame till the onions translucent.Along with green chilli.
  6. Now add finely chopped tomatoes. mix very well & saute tomatoes on a low to medium flame till it becomes soft & mushy.
  7. Now add all the spices,salt,red chilli powder,pav bhaji masala and mix it well.
  8. Add the cooked veggies along with 1 cup water and mix it well.
  9. For a smooth mixture mash all the vegetables. If the bhaji becomes dry and then add some more water. The consistency is neither very thick nor thin..
  10. For Pav - Heat a tawa, add butter,place the pav on it.
  11. Bake the pav all over the melted butter so that the pav absorbs the butter..
  12. Serving - Now take the bhaji in a serving plate or a bowl. Top it up with one to two cubes of butter. You can add more butter, if you like,, serve with baked pav.
